Ecumenical

St. Gregory of Narek Church is actively involved in the ecumenical life of the greater Cleveland area. The pastors of the church have long been members of the Hillcrest Clergy Association and the Eleanor Malburg Eastern Churches Seminar Planning Committee.

The Hillcrest Clergy Association, which includes local church leaders and pastors, meets once a month and organizes ecumenical gatherings for the larger community. These include ecumenical prayer services held in November (around Thanksgiving Day) and on Holy Friday.
The Eleanor Malburg Eastern Churches Seminar is an annual dialogue between the clergy, bishops, and laity of the Oriental Orthodox, Eastern Orthodox, and Roman Catholic Churches in the greater Cleveland area. Established in 1984 to foster appreciation and understanding among the Eastern and Western Churches, the program hosts conferences on theological and liturgical themes. In 2012, St. Gregory of Narek Church hosted a lecture organized by the Eleanor Malburg Eastern Churches Seminar.
